During September, the Scouts took part in the
‘National Make Your Mark Campaign’.

Make Your Mark gives a unique opportunity to reach out to young people who go on to become opinion formers and leaders of the future.

Joining with over 900,000 young people from every corner of the country, the Scouts helped to take part in the UKs largest youth consultation.

Following a presentation of his work at the Youth Parliament, Jack Horder, visited the Scouts and discussed the topics that were to be voted on.
Ten Subjects were discussed ranging from voting for young people from
16 years old through to Mental Health services and protection for LGBT+ people
At the end of the evening Jack, himself an Explorer from Newton Abbot said,
